Why we built it
Transfer season is chaos. A single rumour ricochets across dozens of outlets, "here we go" merchants compete with recycled gossip, and it is genuinely hard to tell a done deal from a slow news day. TransferHub exists to cut that noise. We pull confirmed signings, developing deals and rumours from the publishers that actually break stories, put them in one clean feed, and tag every item so you know at a glance how seriously to take it. No autoplay videos, no ten-page slideshows, no clickbait — just the news, fast.
What TransferHub is (and isn't)
We are an aggregator and index, not a publisher. We do not employ reporters and we do not break stories ourselves. Instead, we monitor the public feeds of trusted football newsrooms, surface each headline with a short excerpt, and link you straight to the original article to read it in full on the publisher's own site. Every story credits its source, and no article is ever reproduced in full — see our attribution policy for the detail.
Our sources
TransferHub currently aggregates from six established newsrooms — Sky Sports, BBC Sport, ESPN, Goal.com, The Guardian and Football365. Each source is weighted by its track record: outlets with reporters who consistently break and stand up transfers carry more weight than those that mainly round up others' reporting. Independence
TransferHub is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any football club, league, governing body or news publisher. Club names and crests appear purely to identify the teams a story concerns. The site is free to read and supported by advertising; ads never influence which stories we show or how they are rated.
Coverage
We cover the major European leagues — the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and the Scottish Premiership — plus the Champions League and the biggest cross-border moves. You can browse the whole feed, filter to confirmed deals or rumours, or jump straight to your league.
The editorial team
TransferHub is curated and maintained by TransferHub Editorial, a small team of football-obsessed editors who set the source weightings, write every explainer in our Guides section, and tune the classifier that decides whether a story is a confirmed deal, a developing move or a rumour. The feed itself is automated so it stays fast, but the rules behind it, which outlets we trust, how reliability is scored, what counts as a transfer, are set and reviewed by people, not left to a black box.
Editorial standards & corrections
We hold three standards. Accuracy: badges, clubs and deal status are driven by what a story's own headline says, never by our guesswork, and we never dress up a rumour as a done deal. Transparency: every card names its source and reliability rating and links to the original in full. Corrections: if we mislabel a story or link the wrong club, tell us via the contact page and we fix it fast — our explainers also carry a visible published and last-updated date so you can see how current they are.
